Lock Unlock PTCL Code For Mobile & International Calls

If you would like to stop making Mobile & International calling from your PTCL do following steps
  1. First call PTCL help line 1236 and ask them to open lock facility(it will take 24 - 48 hrs).
  2. Once facility is available you can lock phone by dialing *33*1234*4# (replace 1234 with your desired password).
  3. To unlock phone dial #33*1234# (Replace 1234 with your password).
By doing this i lock my PTCL mobile & international dialing.

    Is this working or not? please give me details from karachi place? i want to lock my ptcl from karachi side then what can i do? please help me and suggest me if you have any solution.

    Applied PTCL landline connection. they asked me to deposit Rs. 750 (installation charges) which was fine. but they are forcing consumers to activate package of Rs. 600 from which calls will be free to all Pakistan.

    As for those who may not know that this package can be activated separately later. Activating by default gives you first time billing around (Rs. 750 + 600 = Rs. 1350 + 200Rs. line rent) = 1550+tax.
